Apple is said to be putting part of the Face ID sensor below the screen on the iPhone 18 Pro. This may help reduce the size of Dynamic Island compared to current generations.
3. LTPO+ screen:
iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are said to still retain the 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screen sizes of the previous generation. However, Apple may upgrade to LTPO+ technology to improve battery life.
4. Camera with variable aperture:
The 48MP main camera on the Pro line is rumored to support changing aperture. This technology allows controlling the amount of light entering the sensor to support better depth of field adjustment.
5. Chip A20 Pro:
Apple is said to be using the A20 Pro chip manufactured on TSMC's 2nm process. Compared to the current 3nm process, the new chip can significantly improve performance and save energy.
