On July 17, Mr. Vu Duc Nhuan - Chairman of Son Dien Commune People's Committee (Lam Dong) said that the locality has just coordinated with the Inter-sectoral Task Force 421 of the province to survey telecommunications infrastructure in subscribed areas in the area.

The working delegation was headed by Mr. Nguyen Do Ngoc Thien - Deputy Head of the Posts and Telecommunications Department, Department of Science and Technology of Lam Dong province.
According to surveys, some mountainous and remote areas of Son Dien commune still experience weak mobile signals or loss of signal, affecting people's communication, especially on the Gia Bac pass route.
The working group and telecommunications businesses including Viettel, VNPT and MobiFone measured and checked the quality of mobile broadband internet services on National Highway 28 from Km70 to Km42 and the route from Km70 National Highway 28 to Con So village in Gia Bac pass.
The results show that Son Dien commune currently has 14 mobile broadcasting stations, including 5 stations of Viettel, 3 stations of VNPT and 6 stations of MobiFone.

Working with the survey delegation, leaders of Son Dien Commune People's Committee proposed to soon implement solutions to overcome the wave hollowing situation before the peak of the 2026 rainy and storm season, ensuring communication to serve people and disaster response work.
Mr. Nguyen Do Ngoc Thien said that in the coming time, Inter-sectoral Team 421 will coordinate with forest owners and Son Dien Commune People's Committee to build 5 more broadcasting stations to expand coverage in the area.
According to Inter-sectoral Group 421, early elimination of wave hollow zones not only ensures communication but also creates a foundation to promote digital transformation, digital economy development, and digital society; and effectively serves national defense, security, and socio-economic development in the locality.
