Lang Son province approves investment policy for information technology infrastructure upgrade project.

The People's Committee of Lang Son province has just approved the investment policy for the project to upgrade information technology infrastructure, along with digitalized database platform software to serve the digital transformation program in the area in the period 2026-2030.

According to the decision, the project aims to upgrade and complete the digital infrastructure and data integration center of the province in a synchronous, modern, and safe direction, ensuring continuous operation and future expansion.

This system is also supplemented with storage capacity, processing servers and information security solutions, meeting the requirements for operating digital platforms and connecting to shared systems.

An important component of the project is to build a comprehensive digital platform, manage, analyze and share data of the province, along with AI/ML model analysis software.

This platform is expected to create a centralized, interconnected data environment, serving operations, big data exploitation, detection of abnormalities, decision-making support and promoting inter-sectoral data sharing.

The project belongs to group B, including two main items: upgrading the Data Center, supplementing storage systems and processing servers; investing in a comprehensive digital platform, provincial data analysis and AI/ML analysis software.

The implementation location is at Lang Son Provincial Data Integration Center. The total investment of the project is 200 billion VND.

The project is implemented in the period 2026-2029, and 2026 is the investment preparation time.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to complete the feasibility study report and submit it to competent authorities for investment decision according to regulations.

Relevant departments and agencies are responsible for creating, updating, ensuring complete, accurate data and connecting and sharing with the common data platform of the province.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the project investment is an important infrastructure preparation step for Lang Son to accelerate digital transformation, towards developing digital government and improving management and administration efficiency in the coming period.
