Lang Son Provincial People's Committee has just approved a plan to repair and upgrade irrigation works using irrigation career capital in 2026.
Accordingly, the repair and upgrade plan for 2026 includes a total of 15 irrigation works, including 2 transitional works and 13 newly started works.
The total investment demand is 28 billion VND, of which 1.8 billion VND has been allocated until the end of 2025, and the 2026 capital plan is 19 billion VND. The completed projects are expected to effectively serve irrigation and drainage for 404 hectares.
For new projects started in 2026, many projects are spread across communes and wards in the province such as Khuoi Da (That Khe commune), Na Moi (Thien Hoa commune), Mo Gia dam and Cai Xoong ditch and dam (Yen Binh commune), Coc Cum (Vu Le commune), Khon Heng (Ky Lua ward), Ban Moi (Thuy Hung commune);
Phai Pan (Diem He commune), Lan Chau (Huu Lien commune), Na Dong (Tan Van commune), Na Nhan (Chien Thang commune), Trang Tung and Lang Tang (Tan Doan commune), Bo Hay (Bang Mac commune), and Chien Thang lake ditch (Thien Tan commune).
The total planned capital allocated for this group of projects in 2026 is 16.2 billion VND, serving effectively irrigation for 384 hectares.
Among these, the repair and reinforcement project of the Bo Hay ditch in Bang Mac commune has the largest planned capital in 2026, reaching 3 billion VND.
Next are Khuoi Da, Na Moi, Mo Gia dam, Cai Xoong ditch dam, Ban Moi ditch line, Lan Chau, Na Dong, Na Nhan projects... with capital from 1 billion VND or more.
Regarding the repair and reinforcement project of Chien Thang lake ditch in Thien Tan commune, although there is an investment demand of 3 billion VND, the 2026 capital plan only allocates 814 million VND; this project is expected to serve irrigation and drainage for 200 hectares, the largest in this year's list.
