According to Reuters, Microsoft will hold a conference in Seattle, USA on May 19, where analysts expect the company to reveal the latest tools for developers to build AI (artificial intelligence) systems.
Speaking at Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond, Washington, Microsoft CFO Kevin Scott emphasized that the company focuses on promoting the application of standards throughout the technology industry, allowing actors from many different manufacturers to collaborate. The agents are AI systems that can perform specific tasks on their own, such as fixing software errors.

Scott said that Microsoft is supporting Model Context Protocol (MCP) technology, an open source protocol introduced by Anthropic (backed by Google). According to this expert, MCP has the potential to create a "working site" similar to the way super text protocols helped popularize the Internet in the 1990s.
Scott also emphasized that Microsoft is trying to help AI agents better remember what users ask them to do.
But improving AI player memory costs a lot of money because it requires more computing power. Microsoft is focusing on a new method called enhanced structured traceability, in which the factor extracts short sections from each interaction in a conversation with a user, creating a roadmap for what has been discussed.
