At the conference, Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City recognized that the correlation between the digital transformation ranking results in 2023 and administrative reform in 2023 is relatively high, showing that the results of digital transformation implementation contribute significantly to the administrative reform results of each agency and locality.
Some digital transformation targets set for 2025 according to Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU and the Digital Transformation Project have been completed ahead of schedule, such as: 100% of qualified public services have been provided in full; 100% of electronic documents are digitally signed and sent and received; 100% of agencies provide open data; provide 1,200 sets of open data of state agencies on the City Open Data Portal; digital economy accounts for 20% of the city's GRDP; each citizen basically has an ID code and personal health record; each student has an ID code and electronic transcript...
Currently, many agencies have not yet built an Information Technology Application Architecture and Digital Transformation for the industry, so the proposal, registration, and implementation of digital transformation tasks, programs, and projects are small-scale and fragmented.
The city's e-government infrastructure and platform have been invested for more than 10 years, no longer meeting new technology trends and user needs, causing a number of system incidents that affect business operations and processing of work records and public services of agencies and localities.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee suggested that departments, branches and localities link digital transformation with specific plans and tasks such as: reforming administrative procedures in implementing online public services; applying information technology; implementing tasks in the Smart City Project.
The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City requested the Department of Information and Communications and the City Police to coordinate and study common forms and tricks of fraud on cyberspace against the elderly to have specific information on warning systems, community information technology teams, residential groups, etc. to minimize damage, create peace of mind for people when applying information technology, and actively participate in digital transformation in the area.
