The Ministry of Science and Technology has issued Official Letter No. 3993/BKHCN-CVT to telecommunications enterprises with network infrastructure, requesting the implementation of many plans to enhance network safety, prevent network congestion and improve service quality.
Accordingly, businesses must develop specific plans and arrange technical staff to maintain communication throughout the holiday. The Ministry of Science and Technology emphasizes the need to ensure network safety, expand transmission capacity, increase domestic and international connection bandwidth to avoid network congestion when traffic increases suddenly.
Businesses also need to deploy mobile BTS vehicles at crowded places such as squares, parks, walking streets, fireworks display areas and parade parades to ensure stable connections. At the same time, incident response, infrastructure sharing and roaming options between network operators must always be ready to best meet people's communication needs.
In addition, the Ministry of Science and Technology requires units to closely coordinate with competent authorities in preventing the exploitation of telecommunications and the internet to disseminate illegal information, spread viruses or commit fraud. Businesses need to promptly warn and instruct users to avoid risks in cyberspace.
In addition to professional tasks, telecommunications enterprises must also ensure security, safety, and fire prevention at agencies and units. At the same time, prepare information rescue plans in natural disasters and catastrophes to ensure communication to serve the search and rescue work.
In case of incidents, businesses can contact the Department of Telecommunications (Ministry of Science and Technology) for timely rescue support.
