On July 19, An Cuu Ward People's Committee (Hue City) held a launching ceremony for the "Digital Cultural House" model, contributing to bringing digital transformation closer to the people and gradually building a digital society from the grassroots level.
The model is implemented on the basis of implementing the 2025 Law on Digital Transformation, Decree No. 224/2026/ND-CP of the Government and guidance from the Department of Science and Technology. An Cuu Ward People's Committee has established a Digital Social Support Point, and at the same time chose to build according to the "Digital Cultural House" model to promote the effectiveness of grassroots cultural institutions.
Here, people are guided to perform online public services; register, activate and use electronic identification accounts; pay without cash; use electronic health records, electronic social insurance and many other digital utilities.
People are also supported to use smartphones, safe internet, identify forms of cyber fraud and answer problems when using digital platforms.
According to An Cuu Ward People's Committee, the model aims to build a location "easy to find - easy to reach - easy to use - easy to support", creating conditions for all people, from the elderly to young people and workers, to access, learn and receive digital skills support when needed.
The operation of the "Digital Culture House" is expected to contribute to improving digital skills in the community, promoting people to use digital services, thereby gradually building digital government, digital economy and digital society in the area.
