Cases where subscribers have confirmed on VNeID but still need to re-check with the network operator

HẠO THIÊN |

In some cases, users should proactively check their subscribers to promptly handle any errors before August 15.

After June 15, subscribers who have not completed the confirmation or authentication according to regulations will begin to be suspended from one-way telecommunications services. If they continue not to complete before August 15, subscribers will be suspended from two-way services.

During this time, many users said that they have confirmed information on the VNeID application but are still not assured whether the data has been fully synchronized with the telecommunications enterprise or not.

According to the Telecommunications Authority (Ministry of Science and Technology), if users have confirmed on VNeID and there is no notice of request for additional information from the network operator, additional procedures are not required. However, in some cases, proactive re-inspection with telecommunications businesses is still necessary.

Cases to check again

One of the common cases is that users have just changed their citizen identification card or updated personal information recently. Re-checking will help ensure that data between the national population database and subscriber information has been synchronized.

People who use many phone numbers in their names should also review all subscribers. There are many cases where they only confirm phone numbers used regularly but forget to use auxiliary SIMs, SIMs installed on tablets, WiFi routers, surveillance cameras or IoT devices.

In addition, if the application of the telecommunications business still displays a notification requesting confirmation or verification of information, users should follow the instructions or contact the switchboard or transaction point for support.

Those who are not sure whether the subscriber they are using has registered their information correctly or not should also proactively check before the August 15 deadline to have time to handle if any abnormalities are detected.

Early inspection to avoid service impact

Currently, telecommunications businesses all allow users to look up their subscriber status through customer care applications or at transaction points.

If the subscriber confirmation system has completed the confirmation or authentication according to regulations, users can continue to use the service normally.

Conversely, if insufficient information is detected or supplementation is requested, users should complete it early instead of waiting until close to the 15th. 8. Proactive inspection will help ensure that the subscriber does not have service interruptions during the processing schedule according to regulations.
