The above information was shared by the company's leaders at a recent online meeting.
Currently, Sora can only access through a separate web application launched by OpenAI in December, allowing users to create videos up to 20 seconds long with cinematic quality.
However, Mr. Rohan Sahai - Product Director of Sora - said that OpenAI is planning to bring this tool to more platforms and expand Sora's creativity.
Initially, OpenAI targeted Sora to customers who are content creators and video production studios in the pre-production stage. However, the company is currently making efforts to expand its reach, bringing this tool to more users.
Mr. Sahai confirmed that OpenAI is actively developing a way to integrate Sora into ChatGPT, combining these two products together. However, he did not disclose a specific time frame.
The Sora version in ChatGPT may not have all the editing and scene connection features as the web application version.
This move could help OpenAI attract more users to ChatGPT, while encouraging them to upgrade to premium subscription packages if they want to create more videos.
