Within the framework of the "Love Vietnam" Project implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with technology partners, on March 25, Quang Binh province officially installed NFC chip-embedded boards at famous historical, cultural and tourist sites.
This is an activity towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), while contributing to promoting and developing tourism in the area.
The "Love Vietnam" project is implemented with the goal of applying technology to the propaganda and promotion of historical and cultural sites across the country. In Quang Binh, the project is implemented in 3 locations.
Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park (World Natural Heritage): Located in Phong Nha town, Bo Trach district, famous for its majestic cave system.
Quang Binh Quan: Located in Dong Hai ward, Dong Hoi city, is a long-standing cultural and historical symbol of the province.
The Holy Mother Lieu Hanh Temple: Located in Quang Dong Commune, Quang Trach District, is an important spiritual destination of the locality.
The NFC chip-embedded panels are designed in a striking red-yellow color, inspired by the Vietnamese flag. The device can operate completely automatically without a power source.
When visitors use a smartphone to interact with a chip board, the system will automatically identify and provide useful information about the location, images, videos, 3D models, while saving the visitors' personal images.
In addition to providing location information, the NFC chip board also integrates many modern features such as lookup, guidance, and discovery of neighboring attractions.
When visitors experience all the chip-embedded locations in a locality, they will receive gifts from the program and a digital certificate when they complete their exploration there.
Combining official data information with modern technology brings a vibrant, creative travel experience, promoting sustainable and effective tourism.
