Vietnamese students win big at Huawei ICT 2024-2025

At the Huawei ICT Competition 2024 - 2025 Asia - Pacific region, 3 Vietnamese teams won 3 high prizes of the competition.

Huawei ICT Competition 2024 - 2025 is an annual ICT competition organized by Huawei in collaboration with the ASEAN Foundation for students majoring in information technology training at universities and academies around the world.

With the theme "Connection, Glory, Future" and the slogan "I.C. The Future", the contest aims to create an international competition and exchange platform for university and college students around the world, improving students' ICT knowledge and practical capabilities.

After surpassing more than 8,000 candidates in the national round, more than 110 excellent students participated in the Asia-Pacific round held in Malaysia, competing in 4 diverse competition events: Computing track, Cloud track, Network track and Innovation track.

In 5 hours, students passed 2 rounds of the Written Exam and Lab Exam challenges, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and excellent practical skills in key areas such as Cloud, 5G, AI, etc.

Representing Vietnam in the competition, the 3 teams with the 9 best students in the national round demonstrated their talent and bravery, surpassing 36 teams in the region, bringing home all 3 high prizes.

In the Computing track event, the team including Mai Thi Phuong and Nguyen Tu Kien ( posters and Telecommunications Institute of Technology); Duong Van Hiep (Hanoi FPT University) won the excellent award.

Regarding the Cloud track event, the team including Bui Quoc An (Coding Technical Academy), Dau Van Khoa ( posters and Telecommunications Institute of Technology), Tran Hai Dang (University of Technology, VNU-HCM) won second prize.

In the Network track event, the team including Le Nhu Quynh and Dinh Hoang Anh ( posters and Telecommunications Institute of Technology) and Nguyen Le Hong Khanh (Hanoi University of Science and Technology) won third prize.

When winning the award for excellence in the field of Computing track, Mai Thi Phuong shared: I am very happy and proud to receive the highest award of the regional round of the Huawei ICT Competition. Through the contest, the theoretical knowledge and practical experience will help me a lot in my future career."
