The National blocchain Platform - NDAChain is operated by the National Data Association and the Data Innovation and Exploitation Center (under the National Data Center - Ministry of Public Security), launched in July 2025.
NDAChain officially becomes a public-private data authentication layer for key systems such as e-Government, finance, healthcare, logistics and education, solving the complex problems of the centralized storage model: vulnerable to attack, unable to expand and difficult to integrate with the global system.
Why does Vietnam need national blockchain?
With a population of over 100 million people and a rapid digital transformation rate, Vietnam's data volume is increasing exponentially. The National Data Center was built to be the brain to store citizen and national data. However, this requires a mechanism to protect input data from forgery, leakage and abuse.
Blockchain with its immutability, transparency and dissemination characteristics is the optimal choice for authenticating and tracking data sources, especially in transactions of the people and cross-sectoral connectivity.
How NDAChain operates
NDAChain is a licensed blockchain layer 1 platform, using 49 email authentication buttons from state agencies and large corporations such as the National Data Center, Ministry of Public Security, SunGroup, Zalo, Masan, MISA, Sovico, VNVC...
Each authentication button includes: open transaction storage distributory book, Smart contract that enables automatic transactions, Identification authentication set connected to VNeID and popular identification platforms.
The entire system operates on the Proof-of-Authority (PoA) consensus protocol, enhanced security with Zero-Knowledge-Proof (ZKP), processing speed up to 3,600 transactions/second, low latency and easy expansion.
From citizen identification to goods traceability
In addition to being applied in digital government, NDAChain is an infrastructure platform for NDA DID - a decentralized identification solution that helps people verify the identity of partners when transacting, accessing services or signing digital contracts. The NDAKey application allows for identification testing in just a few seconds, helping users avoid fraud and identity impersonation risks.
In addition, NDAChain also integrates with NDATrace a platform for identifying, authenticating, and tracing the origin of national goods. Each product is assigned a unique identification code (UID), complying with GS1 standards, compatible with the EU EBSI system. This helps Vietnamese enterprises easily connect cross-border supply chains and increase consumer confidence.
Vision to 2026 - Creating a national data ecosystem
According to the plan, NDAChain - Blockchain layer 1 will complete integration into the National Data Center in 2025, expanding to localities and universities from 2026. The next phase will focus on human resource training, promoting international cooperation and deploying expanded layers (Layer 2) to serve multiple industries.
With an open structure and policies to promote integration, NDAChain is not only a national-level technology infrastructure, but also an opportunity for technology companies, startups and private organizations to develop applications.
Businesses can exploit NDAChain to build digital services, such as wallets, anti-counterfeiting solutions, traceability platforms, or digital certification portals for each vertical industry.
