NDAChain is a key technology initiative chaired by the National Data Center (Ministry of Public Security), under the strategic orientation of the National Data Association of Vietnam.
NDAChain is announced as a layer 1 blockchain platform, operating at the National Data Center, allowing the development of authentication, identification and data retrieval applications in a transparent, consistent and secure manner.
NDAChain has now integrated two important applications, NDAKey - decentralized digital identification wallet and NDATrace - identification, authentication and traceability of goods. Both comply with international standards such as W3C DID and GDPR, aiming for international connectivity and export support.
Vietnam's launch of NDAChain has attracted great attention from international media outlets such as Cointelegraph, CCN, Benzinga... The prestigious financial technology website Cointelegraph shared: "Vietnam has launched a national blockchain platform designed to act as the backbone of its expanding digital ecosystem". According to this website, NDAChain will play an important role in Vietnam's digital economy.
On social networks, especially in the Web3 user community, many people have expressed their excitement and positive assessment when Vietnam integrates blockchain (block chain technology) into practical applications.
Many experts also compare NDAChain with other national-level blockchain initiatives in the world such as China's BSN or the European Union's EBSI, but emphasize that Vietnam's unique feature is the design of hybrid blockchain, combining authentication buttons belonging to the Government and private enterprises.
This helps the platform ensure state control, while creating conditions for the development of decentralized applications in the community.

Vietnam's development of NDAChain is considered a practical implementation step from Decision No. 1131/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, issued on June 12, accordingly, the construction of blockchain network infrastructure is included in the technology and strategic product portfolio. NDAChain is also in the orientation of integrating into the National Data Center in 2025, and expanding implementation to localities in 2026.
According to the CCN, businesses can build NDAChain applications such as digital wallets, study certificate systems, anti-counterfeit traceability solutions, helping to expand the blockchain ecosystem in Vietnam and attract international cooperation.
In addition, many opinions also recognized Vietnam's pioneering role in removing blockchain from the financial sector and including it in life applications such as identification, public data and commodity traceability.
Vietnam is currently among the countries with a high rate of blockchain application in many fields in the world, with more than 20 million users.
