On December 22, at Ben Thanh central station of Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien), the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City launched a content creation contest with the theme "Touching the future with Metro".
This is the first time Ho Chi Minh City has organized a content creation contest on cyberspace to spread the image of the metro line and connect the community.
The contest was launched right after Metro Line 1 officially came into operation, with the goal of not only creating a strong influence on this modern transport project but also attracting people and tourists, bringing the metro closer to the community.
According to Ms. Vu Minh Huyen - Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Management Board, Metro Line 1 will become a symbol of modern public transport, contributing to creating a dynamic urban culture in Ho Chi Minh City, a favorite destination for tourists and residents.
Ms. Huyen hopes that the contest will produce creative media products, thereby conveying positive messages about behavioral culture and civility when using public transport.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, also highly appreciated the role of content creators. Mr. Hoi said that with the ability to tell stories, create emotions and understand the community, these creations will help not only promote Metro Line 1, but also turn it into an inspirational story for the new era of the country.
The contest “Touch the future with Metro” officially starts from December 22 to January 20, 2025. Participants send their works to the address: ttdt.stttt@tphcm.gov.vn.
Participants are citizens aged 16 and above, living in Vietnam; People who are passionate about creating content in the fields of video, graphic design, photography or writing; Young people who aspire to express their unique thinking through the lens of social networks. Participants can participate as individuals or groups (no more than 5 people) and represent business organizations.
Content creators can create entries based on 15 topics suggested by the Organizing Committee in the Rules. Authors can enter the contest with products in the form of: Short videos (Facebook Reels, TikTok videos); Creative articles (Blogs, social media posts); Graphic design (Posters, infographics, illustrations); Image series (Storytelling through images).
The Organizing Committee will award attractive prizes to authors (or groups of authors) whose products win prizes. The prize structure for the works includes 2 groups. The prize for Content Creators includes 8 prizes and the prize for Multi-Channel Management Communications Companies (MCN) has 2 prizes.
