Facebook is testing a feature that limits the number of messages that individual and business users can send to strangers over a certain period of time.
All messages sent will be counted in the monthly limit, although the specific level has not been set yet. WhatsApp said it is testing at various levels to determine the most suitable option, with testing set in multiple countries over the next few weeks.
When users or businesses are about to reach the limit, the application will display a warning notification with the remaining number of messages, helping them avoid being completely blocked from sending messages.
According to WhatsApp, ordinary users will find it difficult to cross this limitation, as the main measure is to prevent junk messages. The messages received in response will not be counted in the limit.
Google Google traffic jams are a serious problem due to the global popularity of the app. In recent years, the company has implemented many measures to limit spam, such as allowing strangers to be blocked right from the lock screen, canceling subscriptions to receive promotional messages, leaving unwanted groups and limiting mass sending of messages to new accounts.
