Right before filming a new journey with the Mobile Police force in the reality TV show "Courage Soldier", Lien Binh Phat was forced to say goodbye due to a serious injury. This was a decision that made him and the audience regretful.
The actor shared that an injury that occurred during an outdoor activity cost him the opportunity to continue accompanying. The diagnostic results showed that Phat had a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee and had to undergo surgery. Immediately after the injury and knowing the situation of not being able to continue filming, my first feeling was regret and self-blame, he confided.
Lien Binh Phat admitted that he once intended to "tak a risk" and delay the surgery to continue participating in the program. I said I would not undergo surgery to participate, even though I could not do 100% of the exercise as before. That means I will find a way, he frankly said. However, the organizers and production crew decided to put safety first, refusing to let him continue filming in a dangerous condition.
Currently, the actor has undergone ligament reconstruction surgery and is entering the recovery phase. Despite having to temporarily stop the journey, Lien Binh Phat still has a lot of affection for the program and teammates: "An apology to the brave soldiers, to the producer, to the director and especially to my teammates".
The audience once witnessed a Lien Binh Phat enthusiastically playing the role in the experience with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force: always focusing on listening to the commander, ready to ask permission "Let me ask..." to do the best task, even suppressing pain from injury to complete the challenge. That brave spirit and sincerity left a deep impression on viewers.
Although he could not participate in the next stage, Lien Binh Phat affirmed that he still hopes to return one day: "This is not only a TV show, but also a way to spread the spirit of soldiers - silent heroes sacrificing for the peace of society".
His absence is certainly a big loss for the brave soldier. However, the short but determined journey helped portray the image of a "played soldier" rich in will, responsibility, and above all, love for his teammates.
