This morning, April 4, Hoa Vang Commune People's Committee (Da Nang City) opened the 4th Vegetable Festival and Agricultural Product Fair 2026. The event not only honors the value of traditional agriculture but also marks a turning point in digital transformation with the "Hoa Vang Green" ecosystem.
The festival takes place when Hoa Vang commune was just established on the basis of merging Hoa Phong and Hoa Phu communes. This is an annual activity to promote local socio-economic development, tighten the great national unity bloc and create cohesion between the political system and the people after the merger.
At this year's festival, there are 15 booths from villages in the commune and 1 exchange booth of Hoa Tien commune. People and tourists are immersed in a unique agricultural cultural space with activities such as: God of Agriculture worshiping ceremony, vegetable carrying parade, agricultural product production, processing and business contests, and a rich traditional culinary space.
Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy Huong - Vice Chairwoman of Hoa Vang Commune People's Committee, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee emphasized: "The festival is an opportunity for farmers to meet, share experiences, support each other in production, gradually form linkage, cooperation and sustainable development thinking. This is also an important stepping stone for agricultural development associated with experiential tourism, creating high added value for local agricultural products".
The most important highlight of this year's festival is the Hoa Vang Commune People's Committee coordinating with VNPT Da Nang to officially launch the "Hoa Vang Green" digital ecosystem. This is considered a pioneering step in digital transformation of agriculture in the locality.
This platform allows direct connection between farmers and consumers. Through electronic journals, the production process according to VietGAP and PGS standards in specialized farming areas will be transparentized. With the message "Clean from the root, healthy from the meal", the digital ecosystem will help enhance the reputation and brand value of Hoa Vang's OCOP products and typical agricultural products in the market.
Also within the framework of the ceremony, Hoa Vang Commune People's Committee signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Economics - Da Nang University. The cooperation program for the period 2026 - 2030 focuses on supporting new rural construction, socio-economic development, designing brand identity kits and building "product story" to increase emotional value for local agricultural products.
