How to make plum juice to help eliminate uric acid

Plums are chosen by many people because they are rich in vitamin C, fiber and antioxidant polyphenol compounds that help support uric acid excretion.

Plums contain anthocyanins, flavonoids and many antioxidant compounds that can help reduce oxidative stress in the body.

Oxygenated stress is considered one of the factors contributing to increasing chronic inflammation and metabolic disorders in people with gout or increased uric acid in the blood.

Plums also contain a relatively large amount of water. According to nephrologists, increasing the amount of water put into the body helps dilute urine and supports the kidneys to eliminate uric acid more effectively.

This is also the reason why kidney health organizations always encourage people at risk of increased uric acid to maintain the habit of drinking enough water daily.

Another factor is vitamin C. Some previous studies have noted that vitamin C may contribute to increased uric acid excretion through the kidneys in some subjects.

Plum juice recipe to help control uric acid:

6-8 fresh ripe plums.

200ml filtered water.

Half a lemon.

A few mint leaves (optional).

Clean ice cubes.

How to do it:

Wash plums, remove seeds and cut into small pieces.

Put plums in a blender with 200ml of filtered water.

Blend the mixture and strain through a sieve if you want smoother juice.

Squeeze a little lemon juice to enhance the flavor and supplement vitamin C.

Add ice cubes and use immediately after processing.

To limit sugar intake, sugar or syrup should not be added to juice. This is especially important because sugary drinks, especially added fructose sugar, can increase the risk of increased uric acid in the blood.

Plum juice can partially support the elimination of uric acid, but the most important thing is still to drink enough water, maintain a healthy weight, limit alcohol and reduce consumption of purine-rich foods such as animal organs, red meat and some seafood.

It can be seen that plum juice should be considered a healthy supplement to a balanced diet.

However, to effectively control increased uric acid in the blood or gout, patients still need to follow doctors' instructions, periodically monitor uric acid levels and maintain a long-term scientific lifestyle.
