The video recorded this horrifying scene of a lion and a tiger rushing in to bite a white horse during a circus practice. The horse tried to get up and run away, while the lion was still clinging to its belly and the tiger chased after it.
The circus staff had to use chopsticks and sticks to beat the two meat-eating animals to find a way to save the horse and it took a while for the horse to escape.
Mr. Xu, a spokesperson for Taiyang Circus (Thangzhou City, Hebei Province, China) said that at that time, they were practicing a circus performance where tigers and lions ride on horse saddles.
According to Mr. Xu, the lucky horse was only slightly injured. He also said that he was not worried that fierce animals would attack the staff, because they had been keeping them since they were young.
