motivate those who dare to think and dare to do
Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development, signed by General Secretary To Lam and issued on May 4, 2025, has completely eliminated prejudice about the private economy.
Affirming that entrepreneurs are " Soldiers on the economic front" is not only symbolic, but also a strong political commitment to support, protect and motivate those who dare to think and dare to do.
Talking to reporters, Dr. Tran Khac Tam - Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial Business Association - expressed his excitement at Resolution 68. According to Dr. Tran Khac Tam, Resolution 68 emphasizes institutional reform, creating a truly favorable, transparent and fair business environment. This is expected to remove bottlenecks, creating more motivation and room for development for the private economy in the context of the country's strong growth.
"An issue I highly appreciate in Resolution 68 is that the Party and State have paid special attention to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, helping them improve their competitiveness, innovate and participate deeply in the global value chain" - Mr. Tam affirmed.
Mr. Cao Huy Hung - Director of a laundry company in Da Nang - shared: "With Resolution 68, we clearly see a reasonable spirit of tolerance giving businesses the opportunity to overcome violations, not to handle crimes hastily. That creates a great deal of peace of mind to commit to business".
In Khanh Hoa since the beginning of the term, the leaders of this province have created an open, transparent, stable business environment, built and perfected laws and breakthrough mechanisms and policies to encourage the private economy to develop in priority areas.
According to Chairman of Khanh Hoa province - Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, the province will focus on attracting resources in areas where the province has competitive advantages such as developing high-quality services, tourism, finance, trade, logistics, education - training and urban development.
Investors and businesses will be given the most favorable conditions to successfully implement projects and ensure sustainable development in the future.
In the first 3 months of 2025 alone, Khanh Hoa province's economic situation continued to achieve many positive results. The province has also completed procedures for selecting investors for 6 large-scale urban area investment projects in Van Phong Economic Zone, Cam Lam district, Nha Trang city with a total capital of more than 45,000 billion VND.
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee - said that along with tourism, the locality has strongly developed the processing and manufacturing industry. The province will increase the area of industrial land planning, select large enterprises in the field of industrial infrastructure to develop industrial parks. The province aims to have over 2,000 hectares of industrial land and will complete the selection of investors in 2025 - 2026.
Waiting for the wave of green startups
From a financial - credit perspective, the fact that Resolution 68 refers to the policy of exempting corporate income tax, abolishing card fees, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to access capital, and at the same time requiring a reduction in compliance with the law also opens up great prospects for recovery and development, especially in the post- toan cau economic crisis period.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Phong - Director of an export paper manufacturing enterprise in Phu Bai Industrial Park, Hue city - commented: "We are very happy that the Resolution directly mentioned the issue of tax exemption for newly established enterprises and created favorable loan conditions. This will stimulate the spirit of entrepreneurship, especially start-ups in the green economic field. For them, being exempt from taxes and having easier access to low-interest and stable loans from the beginning is significant for survival".
According to Mr. Phong, as long as the implementation guidelines related to mechanisms and capital sources are implemented early and put into practice, the "wave of green startups" in localities can explode, especially in areas that have had few conditions to access capital and preferential policies.
The enterprise now has a political fulcrum, a legal corridor being expanded, a commitment to accompanying is demonstrated through action. The important thing now is that the business community dares to step up strongly, invest systematically, improve management capacity, standardize the model and demonstrate the role of a "warrior" on the economic front as the Party has expected.
