VNA reported that, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President, Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - signed and issued Plan No. 12/KH-MTTW-UB on the implementation of the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the term 2026-2031.
The plan sets out key tasks: Completing the mechanism; strongly innovating the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels, focusing strongly on grassroots levels, residential areas, close to the people, close to the people; strengthening action, practicality, and efficiency; enhancing the role of a solid bridge between the Party, State and people.
Improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism in a proactive, early, remote, democratic, and objective direction, focusing on major guidelines and policies, issues directly related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people; promote the direct supervisory role of the people, the People's Inspection Board, and the Community Investment Supervision Board; strengthen monitoring and supervision of the receipt and handling of social supervision and criticism results.
Build a team of professional, dedicated, and capable Front officials to meet the requirements in the new situation. Focus on studying theory and summarizing practice, contributing to removing difficulties and obstacles, and proposing tasks and solutions in the process of implementing new regulations on organization and operation.
The main tasks are to focus on concretizing and implementing the Action Programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term.
Promote propaganda and mobilization, gather people from all walks of life, strengthen social consensus, promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, including researching and proposing guidelines and policies on promoting the strength of the great national unity; strongly innovate the content and methods of propaganda and mobilization of people from all walks of life.
Regarding representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people; improving the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism, implementing democracy, actively participating in building the Party, State and political system, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front shall study and propose the development of mechanisms and policies to ensure the people's right to participate in contributing opinions to the process of building the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; fulfilling the State's responsibility to the people.
The next tasks are: Building a coordination mechanism, clearly assigning responsibilities in supervision and social criticism activities, participating in Party building and State building; promoting the role of mastery, the spirit of self-management of the People, building a united, safe, prosperous and happy residential area; effectively implementing people-to-people diplomacy and international solidarity; innovating the content and methods of operation; completing and operating a streamlined specialized apparatus, operating effectively and efficiently; participating in the development of science and technology, innovation, building a digital society; promoting digital transformation in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system.
