In the midst of modern life, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology located on Nguyen Van Huyen street still retains its unique attraction for young people every Tet and spring. The museum is not only a place to display documents, but also possesses an extremely diverse folk architectural space.
Here, visitors can admire from Tay Nguyen communal houses, long stilt houses of the Ede people to rustic gold-walled wooden door houses. The authentic space, imbued with the cultural breath of 54 brotherly ethnic groups, has created in-depth frames, helping the traditional ao dai to be more elegant and meaningful.

Many young people shared that taking ao dai photos here brings a feeling of peace, as if they are on a journey back in time.
Wandering around the museum, it is not difficult to encounter poets who are engrossed in posing. The most popular photo angles can be mentioned such as the stilt house and wall house, the bamboo bridge across the small stream, the Northern Delta tiled house, the green garden with lawns and shady walkways.

Thu Phuong (born in 2005, Hanoi) excitedly shared: "I am really surprised because every corner here is very photogenic. Most importantly, I feel more proud to wear the traditional ao dai in a meaningful heritage space like this.
For a smooth "photo hunting" journey, young people need to pay attention to some small experiences.
Regarding outfits, because the wooden architectural setting and stilt houses often have dark tones, you should choose ao dai with bright colors (red, yellow, white, pink...) to stand out more in the frame. A bouquet of fresh flowers, a paper fan or a thin silk scarf will be effective "assistants" to help the picture become more sparkling.
This season Hanoi usually has little sunshine, bringing a flash of light will help the face become fresher and brighter in the frames under the tree canopy.
Especially, because the museum campus is very large, muse girls should bring flat sandals to conveniently move between areas, avoiding leg pain when wearing high heels for too long.
The Museum of Ethnology is open from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM from Tuesday to Sunday, closed on Monday. Entrance fee is 40,000 VND/adult, 20,000 VND for students and the elderly.
