Ninh Binh - Many tourist attractions have waterway tours that have stopped selling tickets to tourists since 9:30 a.m. on July 21.

In order to ensure absolute safety for tourists affected by storm No. 3 WIPHA, Trang An Eco-tourism Area Management announced that ticket sales will be suspended from 9:30 a.m. on July 21 until further notice.

According to Lao Dong, on the morning of July 21, thousands of boats serving tourists at Trang An Eco-tourism Area were anchored to the wharf to avoid the storm.

Boat drivers and staff here are also focusing on protecting trees and houses to avoid damage caused by the storm.

In other tourist areas such as Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, Bai Dinh Pagoda... there have also been announcements to stop receiving tourists until further notice.

Previously, on July 20, the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism sent a document to communes, tourist areas, and tourism businesses on proactively monitoring the weather and implementing storm prevention plans No. 3.

The Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism recommends that areas, points, and tourism service establishments proactively deploy timely and effective storm and flood prevention plans, prioritize the safety of tourists' lives, and absolutely do not be subjective.

When the weather is bad, stop sightseeing activities immediately and promptly notify tourists, travel agencies and authorities.

Arrange rescue forces and vehicles at key locations; publicize hotline phone numbers; install full directional signs and warning signs of danger.

Organize training on first aid skills, emergency situation handling for employees and closely coordinate with authorities in all situations.

Hotel, restaurant, and other service establishments proactively monitor the weather situation, develop and deploy appropriate storm prevention plans.

Facilities must check, reinforce infrastructure, ensure safety for tourists and staff; prepare necessities, and arrange human resources to be on duty 24/7 during the storm.

At the same time, it is necessary to promptly inform tourists about weather conditions, guide safety measures, publicize contact phone numbers and closely coordinate with local authorities to handle incidents when necessary.

On the side of communes and wards, the Department proposed to coordinate with tourist areas, destinations, and accommodation establishments to implement storm prevention plans to ensure the safety of tourists.

Monitor the weather and promptly direct the suspension of tourism activities when necessary. Support propaganda, safety inspection and readiness of rescue forces and handling incidents caused by storms and floods.

The Department recommends that the Ninh Binh Tourism Association coordinate in propagating and guiding members to proactively prevent storms and ensure the safety of tourists.

Support businesses to develop response plans and adjust operations when necessary. Coordinate with the Department of Tourism and localities in information, rescue and overcoming the consequences of the storm.
