Da Nang Downtown will officially stop operating from September 3, 2025. The suspension is a preparation step for a new look, serving the upgrading plan and orienting the development of a new entertainment model in line with the urban and tourism development strategy of the city.
In operation since 2014, after many name changes, up to now, Da Nang Downtown (formerly known as Asia Park) has participated in the journey to contribute to changing the face of Da Nang city for 11 years.
Sun Wheel - one of the 10 largest spins in the world, affectionately called "the eye of Da Nang" - along with outstanding works such as the citadel gate designed by architect Bill Bensley, outdoor adventure games... have become a familiar tourism symbol for more than a decade.
From the air traffic window, the first and last image visitors see when coming to the Han River city is this giant roundabout.

Accordingly, from now until the end of September 2, people and tourists will have the opportunity to experience for the last time symbols such as Sun Wheel, Queen Cobra, Tower of London... along with Asian-style check-in corners.
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, the park will organize a series of unique artistic activities.
On August 30, there was an MC contest and Kpop Kids performance with 200 young talents. August 31 and September 1 are Random Dance competitions - a familiar playground for young people in Da Nang. In particular, on September 2, the Vietnamese Beautiful Music program and the carnival parade with the flag will take place at VUI-Fest market.
At the same time, Da Nang Downtown has launched a special promotion for students with "All in one" tickets of only 150,000 VND (down 40%), valid until August 29. Tickets allow an unlimited experience of Sun Wheel rounds, all outdoor games and attractions in the park. Visitors need to present a student/student card or a photo of themselves wearing a uniform when purchasing tickets.
In addition to entertainment activities, the cuisine at Da Nang Downtown is a highlight that is hard to miss. VUI-Fest night market with more than 50 food, fashion, souvenir stalls combined with street art performances always attracts a large number of visitors. In addition, Panda restaurant with beautiful night vision and unique menu is also an ideal destination for those who want to "travel across Vietnam through each dish".
