One day in mid-July 2025, when Typhoon No. 3 Wipha was still far offshore, in an early forecast meeting on the storm situation, this storm was warned by experts to take the shape of the historic super typhoon Yagi in 2024. That information startled "weather reporters" like me. Memories of the early days of September 2024 when working on the horror of Typhoon Yagi are still intact in my mind.
