After finishing the busy work of the day, many housewives take advantage of exercising at home to both relieve stress and maintain a slim figure. Accordingly, a few simple exercises below that do not require the support of sports equipment will help housewives easily perform.
Squat
Squats are basic exercises that housewives can do at home. This exercise helps to firm up thighs, buttocks and core muscles in a straight standing position, with both legs shoulder-width apart, slowly lowering hips and keeping the back straight, knees not exceeding the toes.
Housewives need to ensure hips are lowered deeply, thighs parallel to the floor. Avoid bending your back, otherwise it can put pressure on your knees and spine.
Push-up
Push-up is one of the chest and shoulder muscle exercises. Housewives can start in a high plank position, arms slightly wider than shoulders, legs widened to hips, eyes looking down at the floor and inhaling, then slowly lower your chest to near the floor, exhale and use force from your hands, chest and shoulders to push your body up to the starting position. Practice about 2-3 sets, each set 5-6 times.
Plank
Plank is an exercise that helps burn belly fat as well as impact shoulders, back, buttocks, and legs quite effectively. Lie face down, lean your elbows and toes on the floor, lift your body into a straight line and hold this position for 1-2 minutes.
Housewives also note to always ensure a straight back, no hammocks or hunches, tighten abdominal and buttock muscles. If the posture is performed incorrectly, it can cause back pain and not achieve the desired effect.
Lunges
Lunges is an exercise that helps strengthen the fore and hind thigh muscles, buttocks, calves as well as improve balance. Start by standing straight, stepping one foot forward, lowering your hips until both knees form a 90-degree angle and then pushing yourself back to your starting position.
Keep the upper body straight, the front knee not exceeding the toes, the back knee not touching the floor. If lunges are not done with the correct technique, it is very easy to get injury, especially in the knees, hips and lower back.
