At the show "Newlyweds", Quoc Thuan and Thanh Van welcomed the participation of the family of Hang Ngan Ha (31 years old) and Vo Duy Tam (31 years old).
Upon introduction, the couple said they had one thing in common: they were born on the same day (August 31, 1993). Previously, Ngan Ha worked at a bank but now she is a small trader. Duy Tam is a doctor working at a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
The couple were high school classmates in Khanh Hoa. In 10th grade, Ngan Ha volunteered to be class monitor, and Duy Tam volunteered to be class secretary.
Although they were both class officers, Ngan Ha and Duy Tam rarely worked together. Ha also did not like this friend because Tam had known many people while still in school. Ha said that in 10th grade, her husband had known someone older than him. In 11th grade, he had known someone younger. They did not know each other until 12th grade.
After knowing each other for a while, Duy Tam decided to confess his love and officially declare his love to Ngan Ha. On February 14, he organized a romantic date. After graduating from high school, the two went to college and faced many challenges before getting married.
They both went to school in Ho Chi Minh City, but the two schools were far apart (one in Thu Duc, one in District 5). Entering the new environment, the two of them seemed to have a new life. Duy Tam had more pressure to study and less free time.
However, in addition to studying, he also participated in other activities, leaving home at 6am and returning at 10pm. Therefore, Duy Tam did not have much time for his girlfriend. Ngan Ha was so angry that she broke up with him. After that, Duy Tam took the bus to Thu Duc to reconnect with his girlfriend.
Duy Tam said that his relationship with his wife continued because he was passionate about group activities and did not have a crush on anyone else. He also knew that his girlfriend graduated before him and could meet someone new when she started working. However, due to the nature of his field of study, Duy Tam did not have time for a relationship.
While at work, Ngan Ha had a crush on another guy, but she didn't hide it and proactively shared it with her boyfriend.
That "crush" only lasted for a week. Ngan Ha shared: "I felt more angry. At work, I interacted a lot and received a lot of attention, I really liked that feeling. Why do I have to chase after one person, when there are others who care about me?"
However, after breaking up with Duy Tam, Ngan Ha felt that he was not suitable for anyone so she proactively texted Duy Tam back. The two dated for 6 years before getting married and having a baby.
