On leisurely holidays, housewives can spend time preparing delicious and diverse dishes to treat their families. Among them, snacks like bag yogurt will make family members excited when they remember childhood.
Making bag yogurt yourself does not take too much time but also ensures food hygiene, helping the whole family to feel secure in enjoying a cool and nutritious snack.
To make bag yogurt, prepare 1 can of condensed milk (380gr), 1 liter of unsweetened fresh milk (equivalent to 4-5 180ml paper boxes).
The yeast part includes 2 boxes of plain yogurt (at room temperature), 1 can of hot water. In addition, prepare a specialized small nylon bag, elastic band.
The first step is to pour the can of condensed milk into a large bowl, use the can itself to measure hot water (about 80 - 90°C) and then pour it in slowly, stir gently to dissolve completely. Next, adding 1 liter of fresh milk will help reduce the mixture temperature to about 40 - 45°C. This is an ideal temperature because if the water is too hot, it will kill the yeast, and if it is too cold, it will make it difficult for yogurt to solidify.
Finally, add the whole yogurt and stir gently for the mixture to blend together. Using a cooled whole yogurt is one of the tips to help yogurt freeze quickly and not detach water.
Use a small funnel to pour the milk mixture into each nylon bag, housewives should note that only about 2/3 of the bag should be poured to easily tie the elastic band. After tying the bag tightly, put the yogurt in a styrofoam box, pour warm water (about 50°C) to submerge half the bag, then close the lid tightly and incubate for 6-8 hours.
After a period of incubation, take out the yogurt bags, dry the bags and put them in the freezer to cool for another 5 hours until they freeze solid. Standard finished products will be sticky yogurt bags, when eaten you will clearly feel the smoothness, without the crunchy feeling of crushed ice.
Adding yogurt to your daily menu not only provides good beneficial bacteria for the digestive system but also helps families cool down their bodies effectively and safely.
