In the latest episode of the show "You want to date", the audience witnessed the cute story between Do Tan Thanh (38 years old, from Binh Dinh, now in Gia Lai province) and Phan Thi Kim Ngan (32 years old, from An Giang, currently living in Can Tho). Both have experienced broken marriages, now coming to the show with the desire to find a sincere and understanding partner.
Mr. Thanh is currently working in the health sector in Ho Chi Minh City, cheerful and optimistic despite many incidents. He revealed that he has 2 big houses in his hometown.
When sharing about the past, he said he was married in 2008, had two children, but the marriage broke up in 2020 due to disagreements in life views. He said: "Once a woman has a different direction, I can only accept it. I choose to live positively, not blame, just want to maintain a good relationship to raise children together".
As for Kim Ngan, she currently runs a restaurant and a department store in Can Tho. Despite being busy with work, she still maintains a gentle, mature appearance and a charitable lifestyle. She shared: I like to work well, how to live like that, just need someone by my side to be honest is enough. If I make 10, I can give all 5 of them to charity, as long as I am happy".
The story between the two became closer when Kim Ngan admitted that cooking was "ugly even though opening a restaurant", while Mr. Thanh honestly said that "only three meals with a loved one is enough happiness". His rustic way of speaking made the audience laugh but also felt his sincerity.
The special thing about the meeting was when the two reiterated the program "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" - where Thanh participated and met BB Tran. Old memories help Thanh gain more confidence when coming to "You want to date", while Kim Ngan shared that she does not care about the geographical distance between Gia Lai and Can Tho: "If there is fate, no matter how far away it will be, it will be close".
In the conversation after "opening the fence", the two showed a rare understanding. Mr. Thanh gave his girlfriend a lipstick - a small gift but full of meaning. In response, Kim Ngan gave him a leather wallet and a belt with the message: "I don't know how to say beautiful words, I can only express it through actions".
When asked about their future, both wanted a simple life, without jealousy, without control. Mr. Thanh said: "I just need someone who knows how to share, to go with me for the rest of my life. Money may be small, but happiness must be enough". Kim Ngan agreed: "I don't need rich people, I just need people to live well".
