Seeking private meetings" (abbreviated as "Samanchu") is a dating reality show for single people working at companies. Accordingly, 6 single people aged 20-30 from different companies meet, pair up and learn about each other.
In the first episode, the program followed the staff from Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Before the 6 players officially met, MCs Choi Mina Sue, who participated in "Single's Inferno 5", and DinDin shared some dating experiences with the participants.
According to Choi Mina Sue, because the initial meeting time is limited, players need to create a clear enough impression so that the other person remembers them. She said that she often smiles to create a friendly feeling, while adjusting the reaction according to the emotions of the person opposite during the conversation.
The female MC also advised girls to maintain confidence instead of worrying too much about whether they will be chosen by the other person or not. She suggested that players tell themselves: "In any case, they will like me. Why wouldn't they like me?".
Meanwhile, DinDin gave advice to the boys on how to choose clothes as well as how to answer cleverly when asked about the ideal type of person. He said players should use words to describe personality and characteristics instead of just giving a specific name.
After the MCs' sharing, 6 players including Lee Min Jae, Kang Ji Hoon, Yoon Min Jae, Kim Chae Eun, Kim Hyo Young and Bae Hyun Jin officially met.
In the initial impressive round of voting, Lee Min Jae received 2 votes and became the most chosen male player. Lee Min Jae and Kim Hyo Young were also the only pair to choose each other in the first round.
The choices continue to change after the game "Love Road", where they have more opportunities to learn about each other's views on love and marriage. In the final selection, all three couples Lee Min Jae - Kim Hyo Young, Kang Ji Hoon - Bae Hyun Jin and Yoon Min Jae - Kim Chae Eun all chose each other.
Notably, it is revealed that Yoon Min Jae and Kim Chae Eun met 2 more times after the program, including one meeting in the evening after completing filming. This detail shows that the meeting on "Samanchu" not only stopped at the program but also opened up opportunities for both to continue to get to know each other.
