In the context of busy work, the time for oneself is increasingly limited, home beauty services are quickly becoming a lifeline for many women.
Instead of having to schedule appointments a week in advance and spend hours at beauty salons, customers now only need a few texting and scheduling operations on their phones to be served at home.
Taking advantage of the weekend holiday to take care of herself, Ms. Ngo Thuy Trang (Giang Vo ward, Hanoi) has just completed nail polishing and eyelash extensions right in her living room.
Due to the busy nature of work, and having to take care of my children in the evening, I almost don't have time to go to the salon to wait for beauty treatments. The most convenient thing is that every weekend at home, I go to social networking groups to find and call people to do manicure and eyelash surgery at home. It saves travel time and allows me to take advantage of cleaning the house or resting," Ms. Thuy Trang shared.
Sharing the same opinion about this convenience, Ms. Le Hoai An (Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi) - a breastfeeding mother raising young children - is also a believer in home skin care services.
''Because my child is still young and cannot leave home for long, I regularly book services through social media accounts. Currently, scheduling is extremely easy and convenient, and the cost is also reasonable, not much different from outside the shop,'' Ms. Hoai An said.
The actual demand of customers is increasing, forcing service providers to quickly change their operating methods to retain customers and increase income. Many beauty salons currently choose to operate in parallel with both forms: both serving at the salon and being ready to come to the house when customers request.
Ms. Minh Anh - an experienced nail technician in Hanoi - said that she both manages her small store and proactively receives scheduled home service for customers.
Customers are now all busy, with a lot of work pressure, so they are very afraid of having to move to crowded streets or wait in line at shops. Therefore, the trend of choosing home services is gradually increasing significantly. Currently, I also have a group of regular customers for home services," Ms. Minh Anh said.

Regarding the cost problem, Ms. Minh Anh added that to ensure the rights of customers, the price of basic service packages when done at home will still be kept the same as at the store.
''To compensate for travel costs and travel time, for addresses outside a 5km radius, I will charge a reasonable travel fee depending on the actual distance,'' Ms. Minh Anh said.
Having been attached to free eyelash extension work on request for more than 5 years, Ms. Nguyen Thu Hong (Hanoi) confided: "The biggest difficulty when doing it at home is that many times I laboriously carry a heavy suitcase of tools, wade through long roads to get there, but customers suddenly postpone appointments, do not answer the phone or report sudden busyness.
However, Ms. Hong also affirmed that, overcoming those risks, this work still brings great initiative.
In return, if you work with dedication and prestige, the number of regular customers introducing each other is very even. The income from working at customers' homes is still high and much more flexible in terms of time than just sitting in a fixed place waiting for customers," Ms. Hong added.
Ms. Hoang Thu Trang - a freelance skincare worker in Hanoi - said that working at home helps her optimize free time during the day.
Previously, sitting at the shop, during off-peak hours during the day, it was often wasted. Since starting work at home, I have arranged my schedule more flexibly. Thanks to taking advantage of free time to stick to the customer's schedule, I can handle a number of customers one and a half times more than before without interrupting work," Ms. Trang said.
