Information from Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, the appraisal team of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health) has conducted appraisal of the operating conditions of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital in Ninh Binh, an important step before the hospital is officially licensed to operate and put into operation.
The delegation surveyed the entire infrastructure system, inspected departments, functional rooms, medical equipment, professional procedures and conditions to ensure medical examination and treatment activities. During the appraisal process, the delegation members directly exchanged, contributed opinions and evaluated each content according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health to ensure that the hospital fully meets the standards before officially going into operation.
Based on the results of actual inspection and professional records, the Appraisal Team unanimously assessed that Viet Duc Friendship Hospital Ninh Binh facility fully meets the conditions according to regulations to be granted an operating license.
The completion of appraisal and eligibility for licensing marks an important milestone in the process of putting Viet Duc Friendship Hospital Ninh Binh facility into operation. According to the plan, after completing the procedures according to regulations, the hospital's opening ceremony will be held on July 9, 2026.
When put into operation, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital Ninh Binh facility will become a modern specialized end-line hospital in the region, contributing to improving the capacity for high-quality medical examination and treatment right in the locality, reducing the burden on central-level hospitals and creating conditions for Ninh Binh people and neighboring provinces to access high-tech medical services with significantly reduced travel costs and time.
The Government has just issued Resolution No. 32/2026 on mechanisms and policies to ensure the operation of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, Ninh Binh facility.
Accordingly, supporting transportation costs of up to 3.6 million VND/45-seat car per day to pick up and drop off officials and employees between 2 facilities (Hanoi facility and Ninh Binh facility) as assigned by the Director of the Hospital and with transportation needs.
The budget also supports the cost of renting accommodation up to 2.5 million VND/person per month for civil servants and employees who are assigned by the Hospital Director to work for a fixed term at the two hospitals and have housing rental needs. However, the resolution clearly states that support will not be provided for those recruited to work regularly at the Ninh Binh facility.
Notably, the resolution mentions supporting spending to attract human resources for officials and employees who are assigned by the Hospital Director to work for a definite term at Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, Ninh Binh facility; officials and employees who are recruited and other subjects according to the operating requirements of Ninh Binh facility.
Viet Duc Friendship Hospital is signed a health insurance medical examination and treatment contract with Hanoi City Social Insurance to perform health insurance medical examination and treatment for both Hanoi and Ninh Binh facilities.
