Ha Thu Dau is a familiar name of Vietnamese women's volleyball. During 23 years of competition (from the age of 18 to 41 years old), Ha Thu Dau was considered a "special person" in the country's volleyball village.

She has many big and small titles at the club level and is called on the national team at the age of 24. With sharp fighting, observing the goods to handle the ball skillfully, Ha Thu Dau became one of the excellent owners of Vietnamese volleyball. She became the top symbol of persistence that made the juniors "the golden generation" of Vietnamese volleyball later such as Kim Hue, Ngoc Hoa, Pham Thi Yen also admired.

In particular, Ha Thu Dau is also known for her beautiful love affair with her husband born in 1965, used to be a athlete. After many years of dedication to volleyball, until leaving the field, the former player of Yen Bai returned to the role of a mother and wife in the family. The biggest "fortune" made her most proud of the husband who loved his wife and daughter born in 2000.

Talking to labor, former player Ha Thu Dau shared the journey of the couple to accompany together. She said: "I met my husband in 1988 when I was 19 years old. At that time, I had just played a volleyball for 1 year. Until now, I think this love is a fate. We overcome difficulties in life.

Both have been athletes should understand each other in daily life, life and work. When I was playing, there was a time when we went to play for 8 months. The remaining 4 months also focus on training.

My husband is not too romantic to regularly text sweet words but he always remembers every working session, schedule, work to remind me.

In my opinion, female athletes are difficult to become a woman of the family. It is difficult to balance time for work and family. Therefore, a partner needs to understand and sympathize, accept those shortcomings of female athletes. In this way, the two have built their own home together ".

The former player Ha Thu Dau affirmed that he was greedy when he always wanted to have many things around such as family, friends, career, finance ... However, she always was satisfied, felt "enough" and knew at each time to prioritize.

"I can love volleyball but when I go home, I am my husband's woman. Currently, when the couple has retired, we often review many memories, understand and respect each other in all matters.

At the age of U60, I always love myself, want to do well to take care of myself and my family. I think that I have to be confident, gentle, happy and know enough, then I can feel the happiness in the family as well as life, "the former player Ha Thu Dau expressed.

When she was over 50 years old, after the dedication and passion, now, the excellent female owner once Ha Thu Dau was having a happy life with a small family and always keeping his burning love with volleyball.
