Compared to normal days, the price of house cleaning services during Tet also increases by 20 - 50%, depending on the time and workload. A common house cleaning shift lasts 8 hours, the price ranges from 700 thousand VND to 1.2 million VND depending on the area and height of each house.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van, Phan Tuong street, Hoa Lu ward, said that her group of 7 people, living on the same street, invited each other to buy items to clean the rented house.
This is the busiest time, sometimes I have to work until 10 pm to get home. Although the work is hard, the income is also temporarily stable to take care of Tet for the family" - Ms. Van shared.
Despite the price increase, customers still accept it because of the great pressure of the end of the year, while cleaning the house takes a lot of time. For many young families, couples all work, hiring house cleaning services is considered the most optimal solution.
Mr. Bui Thai Ba, residing at house number 13, Yet Kieu street, Hoa Lu ward, said that his family rented a package house cleaning package for 1.5 million VND for a 3-story house with an area of 70m2/floor.
If it's normal days, it only costs 800 thousand VND, but finding a worker on Tet is already difficult, so even if the price is a little high, it has to be accepted because both my husband and I are busy and cannot clean up" - Mr. Ba said.
