The movement to build Cultural Families in Hai Phong City in recent years has continued to develop deeply and achieved many encouraging results. The whole city currently has 1,175,910 out of a total of 1,235,181 households recognized as Cultural Families, reaching a rate of 95.2%.
Many families have become typical examples in economic development, encouraging learning and talent, building harmonious families of many generations, preserving family traditions, raising successful children and grandchildren, actively participating in social work, charity and humanitarian work, and building new rural areas and civilized cities.
In the context of the city implementing administrative unit arrangement and building a two-level local government, cultural families have continued to promote their role as an important foundation of the great national unity bloc, contributing to preserving local cultural identity, consolidating social trust and creating motivation for the city's development.
On this occasion, 114 families were commended as "Typical Cultural Families of Hai Phong City in 2025". The City People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 30 families with typical and outstanding achievements in the "Building Cultural Families" Movement.
Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung affirmed that the families commended and honored today are typical representatives of millions of other families in the city. These are exemplary families who well comply with the Party's guidelines, policies, and laws of the State; have made many contributions in patriotic emulation movements; actively participate in social, humanitarian, and charitable activities; build harmonious and happy families; promote the tradition of studiousness and filial piety; and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested all levels, sectors, and localities to continue to raise awareness and responsibility for family work; innovate the "All people unite to build a cultural life" movement in a practical and sustainable direction. Units focus on building a healthy cultural environment right from each family; improve the effectiveness of coordination and integration of focused and in-depth programs and movements, avoiding overlap and formalism. Along with that, strongly promote the role of the people as subjects and the exemplary responsibility of officials and party members to mobilize other families to progress together.
