Hai Phong approves resettlement area project worth over 450 billion VND in Do Son area

Hai Phong - The City People's Committee has just approved the Investment Project to build a resettlement area to serve site clearance in Do Son and Nam Do Son wards.

The project to invest in building a resettlement area to serve site clearance in Do Son ward, Nam Do Son ward is built on an area of 16.83 hectares with main construction items: leveling ground, building roads, retaining walls, green trees, rainwater and wastewater drainage system and wastewater treatment station, water supply, fire prevention and fighting, power supply system, lighting, telecommunications pipeline system, transformer station.

The project is implemented in the period 2025 - 2027 from the city budget with a total investment of more than 456 billion VND. The City People's Committee assigned the Hai Phong Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor.

The project is implemented to build synchronous resettlement area infrastructure according to the approved plan to arrange resettlement housing for households affected by landslides and implement site clearance for traffic, infrastructure, and urban embellishment projects.

Thereby, contributing to expanding urban space, increasing residential land funds to meet people's housing needs and strengthening state management of land, effective land use according to approved plans; and at the same time promoting socio-economic, cultural, sports, and tourism development of the region in a stable and sustainable direction.
