Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa is one of the most outstanding middle blockers in the history of Vietnamese women's volleyball.
In more than a decade of top-level competition, she was a pillar of VTV Binh Dien Long An club, making an important contribution to many domestic titles. In addition, Ngoc Hoa is also a "golden" generation of players, playing a key role in the national women's volleyball team.
With height, blocking technique and effective attacking ability, Ngoc Hoa is considered a symbol in the attacking midfielder position in the golden age of Vietnamese women's volleyball in the previous period.
In parallel with her professional playing career, Ngoc Hoa's personal life is also associated with the sports environment. She met her husband Le Thai Binh when they both worked at the Long An volleyball team.
At that time, Ngoc Hoa wore the shirt of VTV Binh Dien Long An women's team, while Le Thai Binh was an athlete of Long An men's volleyball team. The process of living, training and competing together for many years has helped the two build a strong relationship.
After about 8 years of getting to know each other, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa and Le Thai Binh officially got married in 2014. The cozy wedding was held in their hometown of Long An with the participation of both families and many close teammates. At this time, Ngoc Hoa was still at the peak of her form, while Thai Binh began to gradually switch to coaching.
After getting married, the two continued to be attached to volleyball but in different roles. Ngoc Hoa played for a number of more seasons before retiring in 2019, while her husband focused entirely on coaching. Despite a dense professional schedule, the couple's married life still maintained stability and rarely appeared in front of the media.
In 2022, Ngoc Hoa's family welcomed their first child, marking an important milestone. Work is somewhat busy, but both still spend time taking care of their child.
Currently, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa is in charge of the role of head coach of VTV Binh Dien Long An club, and also an assistant coach of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
Meanwhile, coach Le Thai Binh continues to work in Tay Ninh men's teams and accompanies his wife in both professional and family life.
