Singer Ngoc Anh is one of the veteran singers participating in "Sister Who Makes Wave" season 2.
At the second performance night, Sisters Ngoc Anh, Phuong Thanh, My Linh, Thuy Hien and Chau Tuyet Van performed the song "A world with two gloves" with a meaningful message about the love between mother and daughter.
The Sisters also took the opportunity to express their love to the family cheering in the stands. Singer Ngoc Anh choked up as she apologized to her daughter for the 10 years they were apart and promised, “I will be your companion for the rest of my life.”
During the first 10 years of Angela Phan Truong's daughter's life, the famous singer could not be with her because she was busy working abroad. She once took her daughter to live in the US, but Phan Truong wanted to return to Vietnam to live with his grandparents.
In the end, she decided to return to her homeland to be with her daughter. “When I thought about working hard to earn money, pay the house, car, insurance bills… and buy a plane ticket back to Vietnam to visit my daughter, all the expenses of living abroad became unreasonable because I was far away from my daughter,” Ngoc Anh confided.
Angela Phan Truong is the daughter of singer Ngoc Anh and her second husband. The couple divorced when their daughter was 4 years old.
Becoming a single mother when her daughter was just 4 years old, singer Ngoc Anh revealed that she felt sorry for herself: “People around her always go in pairs and it is easier for two people to raise a child together. A single mother always faces more difficulties and hardships because she has to be both a father and a mother, working twice as much as a normal person.”
Ngoc Anh also has a special way of raising her daughter: “From a young age, I guided my daughter to be independent, to develop a strong personality, and to have her own opinions in decisions. When she grew up, I let her freely pursue her desired field of study and job, without forcing her to live according to her wishes or dreams. My role as a mother is to be by her side, to accompany her, to be a solid wall for her to lean on when facing difficulties.”

Previously, Ngoc Anh had experienced a broken relationship with the son of artist Xuan Hong. The two got married when she was 34 years old, but because her husband did not want her to have children, they divorced after 5 years of living together.
Currently, singer Ngoc Anh enjoys life with her daughter and participates in some shows. She feels that even at the age of 60, she can still live freely like in her youth and therefore does not want it to be disturbed.
Famous singer Ngoc Anh's full name is Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, born in 1964. She is known as the "Queen of Rock Music" or "Queen of Cassette Tapes" of Vietnam.
At her peak, the female singer revealed that her revenue was so large that every 2 to 3 days she had to go to the market to buy gold to accumulate "by the tael of gold, not by the ounce of gold".
The series of songs that made her famous include: "Tri An - Echo of Spring", "Say You Will", "Spring by the Window", "Homeland Ferry"...
