In the latest episode of Lunch Dinner, viewers were surprised to meet Mr. Cong Minh, 30 years old, currently working freelance online and on a 138-day walk across Vietnam. Mr. Minh shared that his goal is to go to Ca Mau Cape, both to experience life and to see this as a memorable "highlight" at the age of 30.
“Before, I lived quite mischievously, but at one point I felt that life was no longer happy. I wanted to find something lighter and more positive, so I chose to walk, give up many things and slow down,” Mr. Minh said.
During the walk, he took a few days off to participate in this dating show.
The person introduced to Mr. Minh by the program is Ms. Thu Hang, 30 years old, an office worker from Tay Ninh. Ms. Hang had a broken marriage and is currently a single mother of a 5-year-old boy. She said she wants to find someone sincere, loving and willing to share life with both her and her child. “I only need someone who understands me, cares about me and can accompany me for a long time,” Ms. Hang confided.
In the conversation, Mr. Minh frankly shared his life views: "Happiness for me is freedom, not imposition. Currently, I am both working and working, earning about 10 million VND per month, enough to live on but not yet rich. I don't think too far, just let everything come naturally.
He is currently working online. He also said that after finishing his journey across Vietnam, he will continue to do flexible jobs so that he can go to many places and accumulate more experiences.
Before Mr. Minh's liberal lifestyle, Ms. Thu Hang admitted that she felt he was an interesting, positive and determined person. However, when asked about her true feelings, Ms. Hang confided: "He is very free, living true to what he wants. But I am someone who needs safety, needs a stable job to be more secure. I am easily worried, think too much, so if the other person is too free, I will feel insecure.
In the final choice, although Mr. Minh was willing to give both of them the opportunity to continue to learn about each other, Ms. Thu Hang decided not to press the dating button. She frankly shared that the views on life between the two are not really suitable, especially when she is prioritizing stability for herself and her son.
Although they did not become a couple, both Mr. Minh and Ms. Hang maintained a positive attitude and appreciated the meeting.
