Cooking oil can help brighten the floor
Cooking oil contains natural fats that can soften and polish surfaces. When cleaning the floor, a thin layer of oil will fill the scratches, while creating natural shine, making the floor look cleaner and smoother without causing slippery conditions if used properly.
How to clean your home with cooking oil for maximum efficiency
1. Clean the floor first
First, you need to clean the dirt, then clean the floor as usual with floor cleaner or diluted warm water. Make sure the floor is clean before applying the oil layer.
2. Mix cooking oil inat water
Use 2-3 drops of cooking oil (any kind is fine, including used oil, as long as there is no burning residue) mix in about 2 liters of warm water. Stir well to slightly dissolve the oil in water.
3. Re- policy using a soft towel
Soak towel or floor reaper in water that has been greased, squeeze it dry.
Phosphate all over the floor, in an S shape to avoid leaving streaks.
If the floor is brick, canopy or industrial wood, the ball effect will be more obvious after drying.
4. Re-wipe with a dry towel
Use another dry clean towel to clean it one last time. This helps remove excess oil and increase shine.
Important note
Do not pour the oil directly onto the floor because it will easily cause slippery conditions, making it difficult to control the amount of oil.
Only oil thoroughly 1-2 times a month to avoid excess oil accumulation.
This tip is best suited for anhydrous floor tiles, bricks, and industrial wood that has been treated with waterproofing.
