On August 31st (the 3rd day of the holiday), many Hanoi residents took advantage of taking their families and friends to the Metro to have fun and visit the city. Being given free tickets on National Day makes the stations more bustling than usual.

Present at the station, Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh (Tu Liem ward, Hanoi) said that today, he took his children to play and chose Metro for the whole family to have a new experience.
The children are quite excited because this is also an opportunity for them to take the train and admire the streets from above. The Metro is clean, modern, and convenient to travel, so I want to let my children experience it," Mr. Minh shared.

According to Mr. Minh, being free of charge for tickets during National Day is also a favorable point, helping families have more choices when planning to have fun on holidays.
Taking her children out to play together, Ms. Vu Thuy Trang (Quang Minh commune, Hanoi) said that this is an opportunity for the whole family to spend time together and experience public transport.
My children really like to take the Metro because the feeling is different from ordinary vehicles. My children are very excited, they just like to admire the city. Besides, we also get to take the free bus, which is very convenient for people far from the inner city like us if we want to go out on holidays," Ms. Trang said.
Not only families, many young people also take advantage of holidays to experience Metro. Vu Quang Vu (Hoang Mai ward, Hanoi) chose Metro for a day trip.
According to Quang Vu, the two friends knew about free tickets for the National Day holiday, so they decided to use the Metro to travel.
Going on the Metro is quite convenient, no need to worry about finding a parking spot or traffic jams. I think this is a good policy of Hanoi, encouraging people to use public transport more, contributing to reducing environmental pollution," Vu said.
At the stations, images of people queuing to wait for trains, moving with family and friends create a vibrant atmosphere in the days leading up to National Day. Many passengers who experience Metro for the first time also take the opportunity to record memorable moments with their phones.
With convenience, modernity and free ticket policy during the holidays, Metro becomes one of the choices that Hanoi people are interested in when traveling and having fun during the National Day holiday on September 2nd.
