Jordan claims to intercept 8 Iranian missiles

    Jordanian air defense forces intercepted 8 missiles encroaching on the country's airspace, the Jordanian military said in a statement.

    Meanwhile, a Jordanian military spokesman said "Jordan air defense forces have destroyed all ballistic missiles and drones launched by Iran".

    At this point, the operation to intercept aerial targets has been completed," this person said.

    Previously, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it had destroyed maintenance infrastructure and fighter aircraft deployment positions in attacks targeting US bases in Jordan. This attack was carried out in response to a US attack on Larak Island in southern Iran.
