On September 1st day and night, the weakening low pressure area from Typhoon Saudel moved from the Guangdong area (China) back to the north of the Northern East Sea area, with the possibility of strongly regenerating into a storm.
Currently, Phu Quy special zone has strong southwest winds at level 6, gusts at level 7-8. The Northern East Sea area, the eastern sea area of the Central East Sea, the Gulf of Tonkin, the sea area from Ca Mau to An Giang and the Gulf of Thailand have scattered showers and thunderstorms.
On the day and night of August 30, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Dak Lak will have strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusts of level 7-8; rough seas, waves 2-3m high.
The North and Central areas of the East Sea (including the Hoang Sa special zone), the sea area north of the South East Sea area (including the North of the Truong Sa special zone), the sea area from Khanh Hoa to Vinh Long have strong southwest winds at level 6, gusts at level 7-8; rough seas, waves 2-4m high.
The Gulf of Tonkin area, the sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau, Ca Mau to An Giang, the Gulf of Thailand, the Northern East Sea area (including the Hoang Sa special zone), the eastern sea area of the Central East Sea area have scattered showers and thunderstorms. In thunderstorms, there is a high possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind at level 7-8, sea waves over 2m high.
On August 31st day and night, the North and Central East Sea areas (including the Hoang Sa special zone), the sea area north of the South East Sea area (including the North of the Truong Sa special zone), the sea area from Gia Lai to Vinh Long will have strong Southwest winds at level 6, especially the North and Central East Sea areas (including the Hoang Sa special zone) at times level 7, gusts at level 8, waves 2-4m high, rough seas; the Gulf of Tonkin area, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Quang Ngai will have West to Southwest winds at level 5, at times level 6, gusts at level 7, waves 2-3m high, rough seas.
The meteorological agency warns that the level of natural disaster risk at sea is level 2. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and large waves.
