Actor Vi Nam, born in 1992, spent more than 10 years pursuing stage art before switching to the field of short films. In a project at a media company, he met Lan Anh, an actress born in 1999.
Interestingly, neither of them had a good impression of each other when they first met. Vi Nam frankly admitted that he found his new colleague completely normal, nothing special. Meanwhile, Lan Anh clearly remembers the feeling of not being very sympathetic to her older co-star.
According to her, Vi Nam has a mature, methodical acting style from school, while the working environment of the short film group requires quick reflexes and flexibility. Even the short hair of the male actor at that time also made her think that he was not suitable for the role.
However, the time working together changed Lan Anh's thinking. She gradually learned a lot of professional experience from a colleague with a professional stage background. Exchanges about acting, times participating in projects together have helped the distance between the two people to be narrowed.
It took nearly 3 years for feelings to truly blossom. From normal conversations, care for each other appeared naturally. Lan Anh said that what conquered her were not gifts or flowery words, but the understanding of women's psychology from Vietnam.

Unlike many couples, Vi Nam and Lan Anh decided to register their marriage first, then have children and then hold a wedding. The actor said he wants his son to witness the big day of his parents.
The couple registered their marriage, welcomed their first child and then officially held the wedding ceremony in December 2025 when the baby was over one year old.
One of the most memorable memories of the two is the proposal that took place when Lan Anh was about 6-7 months pregnant. Because all his salary was given to his wife to manage, Vi Nam had to borrow 15 million VND from a friend to buy a proposal ring.
The actor recounted that he had spent many days worried because he was afraid that his wife would discover the secret gift. At Lan Anh's birthday party, in front of his friends, he suddenly knelt down to propose with the sentence: "I have proposed to you many times on screen, but today I really want to do it in real life".
Despite having a beautiful love story, their married life still has differences. Lan Anh said she is not satisfied with her husband's laziness to do housework and drinking habits. Meanwhile, Vi Nam thinks his wife is too perfectionist, likes to clean up and always wants everything to be really neat.
However, after each argument, the two find ways to make peace. The actor admitted that he often chooses to remain silent for a while and then actively hugs his wife to relieve stress.
After all, what keeps them together is still understanding and love nurtured through many years of companionship.
