The program "You want to date" that has just been broadcast has brought many emotions when successfully matching a couple of the same age, who have both experienced broken marriages: Nguyen Duy Quynh (36 years old, Dong Thap) and Nguyen Thi Thao (36 years old, Ha Tinh).
Duy Quynh appeared with the gentle, straightforward appearance of the Western people. He shared that he is a businessman, a diamond trader and lives with his parents in the countryside. Previously, he had a short marriage that only lasted 5 months. The reason, according to Duy Quynh, was that the two were in a hurry to get married after only getting to know each other for about 2 months and were not really ready. The difference in lifestyle and lack of sharing caused the marriage to break up quickly.
Sitting opposite him was Nguyen Thi Thao - a female accountant working in Ho Chi Minh City. She also experienced a broken heart after 2 years of living together and is currently a single mother of a 6-year-old boy. Talking on stage, Thao shared her desire to find a mature man who brings warmth and peace.
The two quickly found empathy in their past marriage. Duy Quynh expressed his appreciation when Thao frankly shared her situation, and affirmed that if he came to her, he would love both mother and child, regardless of whether they were joint children or stepchildren. When discussing his future, Duy Quynh shared his wish to bring his wife back to his hometown to live near his elderly parents to conveniently take care of her, but still respect his partner's choice. He hopes his wife will love and respect his parents like his biological parents.
The most touching moment in the program came from Duy Quynh's brother. Sitting in the audience seats, he could not hold back his tears.
