Due to the impact of storm No. 10, many localities in Nghe An province recorded prolonged heavy rain, floodwater from upstream poured in, causing rivers and streams to rise and flow rapidly.
Of which, Xop Khau village, Yen Thang commune, Nghe An province is one of the locations where serious damage was recorded.
The most painful thing is the case of a village house being dug deep into the ground by floodwaters, sweeping away the entire house in just a moment. The one-story house, built quite solidly, is located close to the edge of the flow.
However, due to heavy rain for many days, the soil and rocks were mushy, the flood water after the storm became fierce, digging up large areas under the foundation.
According to the witness, a loud noise broke out, the entire soil behind the house collapsed, dragging the whole house into the floodwaters as if it had been "swallowed".
At the time of the incident, the homeowner was at work. According to neighbors, the homeowner is working for hire to earn money to pay off debts to build a house.
