The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, assigning the Vietnam Center for Exhibitions of Culture and Arts to preside over the implementation together with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa province and 8 localities including Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Ca Mau and Hai Phong.
With the theme "Happy Family - Prosperous Nation", the festival is an annual cultural activity to honor the good traditional values of Vietnamese families, raise awareness about the role of families in the development of the country, and at the same time spread the message of love, responsibility and cohesion between members.

The highlight of the event is the thematic exhibition "Happy Family - Prosperous Country", introducing images and documents about the concern of President Ho Chi Minh and Party and State leaders for family work; reflecting the guidelines and policies for building a prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized Vietnamese family through periods.
In addition, the thematic photo exhibition will introduce beautiful moments of Vietnamese families, honor the love between generations and reflect the unique features in the cultural life, customs and habits of many regions, especially the Central Highlands, border and island areas.
The exhibition space "The quintessence of crafts in Vietnamese families" will introduce traditional handicrafts preserved through many generations such as embroidery, silk weaving, bamboo and rattan weaving, sculpture and wood carving. Meanwhile, the "Family Reading Books - Connecting Love" area displays many books on parenting skills, building family happiness and developing reading culture.
Notably, the display area of 9 provinces and cities participating in the festival will introduce images, artifacts, typical cultural products, typical cultural family models and outstanding results in family building in each locality.
In addition to exhibition activities, the festival also has many cultural and artistic exchange programs. On June 26, the art program "Family Joy" will take place with music and dance performances, street art, dance and folk dance praising homeland, country and family happiness. On June 28, the mass art exchange program "Colors of the Sea" will bring a vibrant atmosphere, imbued with regional cultural identity.
During the event, delegations will also visit some typical historical relics and scenic spots of Khanh Hoa to strengthen cultural exchange and connection between localities.
The opening ceremony of Vietnam Family Day 2026 is scheduled to take place at 3:30 PM on June 25, 2026.
