According to reporters' records at Cau Giay market (Hanoi), the atmosphere of buying and selling fresh flowers is much busier than usual. Stores continuously have customers coming in and out to see samples, ask for prices and pre-order products.
This year, March 8 falls on the weekend, many agencies and businesses tend to organize early celebrations, leading to an earlier increase in flower demand than in previous years.
Many customers choose to order flowers online or finalize samples in advance to ensure they have satisfactory products, and at the same time be proactive about costs when flower prices tend to increase gradually every day.

Mr. Tran Tien (Hanoi) said that he takes advantage of going to choose flowers early to avoid the crowded situation close to the day.
Preparing for March 8th, I want to buy a bouquet of flowers to give to the women in the company. This year March 8th falls on the weekend, so I bought early and also want the women to have flowers to admire from the beginning of the week until the end of the week. Women really like flowers, so giving flowers is a joy," Mr. Tien shared.
According to small traders, the number of customers has gradually increased compared to the last days of February. It is forecasted that from June 4-6, March will be the peak period when the demand for buying flowers increases sharply, especially from offices and businesses.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Ha - a small trader at Cau Giay market, said: "Currently, customers have started to be crowded. If compared to normal days, it must be three or four times more. It is expected that June 5-6 will be even more crowded. Flowers imported these days are starting to increase in quantity, but the closer to March 8, the higher the price will be. My store has many regular customers, so even on peak days, prices must be adjusted according to the market.
According to small traders, flower prices this year range commonly from 150,000 to 350,000 VND for medium-range bouquets and flower baskets, suitable for giving to colleagues and relatives. More elaborate designs may have higher prices.

Besides the increase in the number of customers, this year's flower designs are also considered more diverse. From traditional roses, lilies, tulips to imported flowers are displayed richly, meeting different needs of customers.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lanh - another small trader at Cau Giay market, shared: "This year, flowers are very diverse, many types, many colors. Young people often like gentle, delicate colors. I advise customers to buy early or pre-order to avoid crowds, congestion, and having to queue to wait close to the date.

According to small traders, it is predicted that in the coming days, flower purchasing power in Hanoi will continue to increase sharply. The atmosphere of preparation for the day of honoring women has really been bustling, dyed brightly throughout the streets and flower shops in the capital.
Bouquets and flower baskets are not only material gifts but also a sending of love and respect to women on this special occasion.
