On March 4, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council of the XV term, 2021-2026, held its 9th meeting to consolidate the titles under its authority.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council dismissed Mr. Tran Huy Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee - from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to take on other tasks.
With 100% of the votes in favor, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Congratulating the new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council Le Quoc Chinh expressed his belief that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh in his new position will join the collective of the Provincial People's Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity, creativity and responsibility, drastically direct and operate to complete socio-economic development goals according to the province's resolution.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh committed to maintaining integrity, impartiality and transparency in the performance of official duties; upholding administrative discipline and order, daring to think, daring to do, and daring to take responsibility for the common good.
He also affirmed that he will strive with the leadership collective to bring Ninh Binh to rapid and sustainable development, and at the same time focus on effectively implementing the policies of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh was born in 1974, from Nghia Tru commune, Hung Yen province; holds a Master's degree in Economic Management, Advanced in Political Theory. Before being elected as Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, he held many positions such as Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Standing Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen City Party Committee (old), Chairman of Thai Nguyen City People's Committee (old), Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee and Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee.
